How to use the Command+4 keyboard shortcut

To use this keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Command key, and while continuing to hold, press 4.

Note

For this shortcut to work, use 4 above the top row keys, not on the numeric keypad.

Command+4 in macOS

In Apple's macOS, pressing Command+4 displays the items in the Finder window as Cover Flow.

Command+4 in an Internet browser

With all major Internet browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari), pressing Command+4 switches to the fourth tab.
