How to use the Ctrl+0 shortcut key

To use this keyboard shortcut, press either Ctrl, and while pressing that key, press 0.

Note

For this shortcut to work, use 0 above the top row keys, not on the numeric keypad.

Using Ctrl+0 in an Internet browser

In all major Internet browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox), pressing Ctrl+0 changes the zoom level back to its default setting. For example, if you've pressed Ctrl++ to zoom in on a web page and later wanted to restore the default zoom level, press Ctrl+0 to restore the browser's original zoom setting.

In Microsoft Excel, pressing Ctrl+0 hides the column containing the active cell or multiple columns if more than one is selected.

Ctrl+0 in Microsoft Word

In Microsoft Word, pressing Ctrl+0 toggles 6pts of spacing above the paragraph of where the cursor is located.
