Easy Capture Manager is a software tool included with Samsung laser printer software designed to help users take pictures of portions of their screen. By default, the program takes over the print screen function, which means when PrtScr is pressed, the Easy Capture Manager opens.

How to disable Easy Capture Manager

To disable Easy Capture Manager from opening when PrtScr is pressed, follow the steps below.

Turn off the "Prt Sc" keyboard shortcut

  1. Press PrtScr or PrtSc on the keyboard to open the Easy Capture Manager program.
  2. Click the gear icon (Gear icon) on the far-right side of the Easy Capture Manager toolbar.
  3. In the Option Dialog window that opens, change the Keyboard Mode to None and click OK.
