Founded in 1963 and originally known as Elektrobau Mulfingen GmbH & Co, ebm-papst is a manufacturer of motors and related components like fans, blowers, and gas valves. Ebm-papst products are used in a wide variety of industries, including data centers, computers, medical technology, automation, and refrigeration.
The parent company changed its name to ebm-papst in 2003 when it merged with two other companies, Ventilatoren Landshut GmbH and Elektrobau Mulfingen GmbH & Co.
