Electronic whiteboard

An electronic whiteboard may refer to any of the following:
1. An electronic whiteboard is a hardware device found in schools and businesses that is similar to a whiteboard. It transmits any information written to a computer or multiple computers. They also allow live interaction with digital objects on the screen. The picture is the SMART Board 800 from SMART (Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology) and an example of an electronic whiteboard.
2. An electronic whiteboard is software that runs on the computer and resembles a whiteboard. A user, such as a teacher, could draw on the electronic whiteboard in the program, and that image is distributed to multiple computers.
