Founded in 2003 by Gordon Kruberg, Gumstix is a manufacturer of COMs (computer-on-modules) and various I/O expansion boards for specialized computers. The COMs are powered by an ARM processor and Linux. Computer enthusiasts can also design their COMs using Gumstix's online design utility, Geppetto.
