Hero image

With web design, a hero image is a digital picture or graphic that identifies, brands, or represents a web page. A hero image may be larger than other images on the page and placed in a prominent position above the fold. Its purpose is to catch the reader's eye, help them determine that they are on the correct page, and help them understand and remember the page's information.

Computer Hope includes a hero image on most of our pages that floats to the right of the opening paragraph, as seen on this page.
