Updated: 11/13/2018 by Computer Hope
Alternatively called staircasing, jaggies are a rigid, non-straight line or edge of an image or graphic. For example, jaggies or jagged edges are visible when zooming in on an image and with poor quality images. The image is an example of a zoomed in dot as a demonstration.
