Kylin

First released in 2001, Kylin was an operating system based on FreeBSD and created for use by the Chinese military. In 2013, Canonical, Inc. signed an agreement with the Chinese government to create a version of Ubuntu for the average Chinese desktop and laptop user. This version, named Ubuntu Kylin, is based on the Ubuntu Linux distribution.
