LastPass

Created in 2008 by Marvasol, LastPass (sometimes abbreviated as LP) is a password management service that creates and stores unique, secure passwords for user accounts on websites. Using the LastPass browser extension, you can access your library of passwords and autofill your procedurally-generated password for a website when logging in. The extension is also cross-platform, allowing you to log in with your LastPass account on any supported device or browser.

The LastPass extension is available for free with limited features. For a monthly subscription of $3.00, however, LastPass Premium unlocks additional features, including biometric access for smartphones, and temporary passwords for sharing.

In 2015, LastPass was purchased by LogMeIn.
