Founded in 1994 by Roger D. Linquist and Malcolm Lorang, MetroPCS is a United States prepaid wireless service owned by T-Mobile US and headquartered in Richardson, Texas, US. It operates the sixth largest mobile telecommunications network in the United States using CDMA technology.
In September 2018, MetroPCS was re-branded as Metro by T-Mobile. It sometimes is also called "Metro."
