Pogo
Pogo is a website that lets you play over 100 different games for free. There are many categories to choose from, including puzzle games, board games, card games, casino games, and arcade games. Pogo offers a free account to everyone, and access to a social environment for chatting and playing games with friends. At any given time, there can be over 100,000 players logged in and playing a game.
Pogo was originally called the Total Entertainment Network and launched in 1994. In September 1999, it was renamed to Pogo.com. The company behind Pogo.com and the site ownership was purchased by Electronic Arts in March 2001. To access all games, players must use a web browser on a computer, but some games can be played using am iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. Facebook also offers a Pogo Games application, with a more limited list of playable games. Players can upgrade to a premium subscription, called Club Pogo, which includes members-only rooms, ad-free play, double jackpot spins and over 40 exclusive games.
