Like its predecessors, Quake 3 Arena (also called Quake 3) brings back the first person shooting games. Quake 3 brings new arenas, new models, spectacular multi-player action and support for single player where the player plays against bots.
Quake III is a must for anyone who has enjoyed the previous versions of Quake or is interested in getting into first-person shooting games.

Quake 3 cheats
The following commands need to be entered in the game console to activate the cheat:

Quake III: Team Arena brings even more of a punch for players who enjoy Quake 3 Arena. Team Arena has new weapons such as the nail gun, prox launcher, chain gun. New abilities such as kamikaze and invulnerability sphere, new game modes such as new modes of CTF, harvester, hunting, and overload.
Anyone who really enjoys Quake III will enjoy Team Arena.
Game types:
- Harvester - Objective is to collect skulls in the middle of the map that are generated when a member of the opposite team dies. Once skulls are collected you must take them to the enemy base to score. If you are killed you lose all skulls.
- Overload - Objective is to destroy the other teams skull-adorned obelisk. The skull has a total of 2500 health and regenerates 1 health per second.
- One flag CTF - Collect the flag in the middle of the map and return it to the enemy base without being killed.
New weapons:
- Prox mine launcher - Launches prox mines on the ground, wall or other players. Will explode if enemy is close or after 30 seconds.
- Chain gun - Chain gun similar to other guns in other first person shooters.
- Nail gun - Like the gun in the original Quake. A little slower however.
New items:
- Doubler - Doubles the damage.
- Scout - Doubles speed of character.
- Guard - 200 armor 200 health.
