The second game in the series, SimCity 2000 continues the fun and success that SimCity brought to the gaming market. New features include the ability to build prisons, schools, libraries, museums, and hospitals, highways, bus depots, railroads, train stations, subways, and even a seaport and airport. Players can also choose from nine different types of power plants, like oil, gas, coal, nuclear, wind turbine, hydroelectric dams, solar, and even fusion or satellite microwave.
The options available in SimCity 2000 are nearly limitless, which allows you to build a dream city and learn about infrastructure, businesses, and housing to keep the residents happy.
SimCity 2000 is a great game for anyone and has a number of educational elements to make it a great choice for kids.

SimCity 3000 is the next edition of the SimCity classics. SimCity 3000 brings back the great fun, excitement, and thinking of the favorite SimCity series with great new looking graphics, much more customization and ease of use.
One of the more notable additions in the game is concept of waste management. The player must learn to manage garbage accumulation in the city and the expenses that go along with garbage removal.
