Socket 1

The Intel Socket 1 is a computer processor socket that had 169-pin holes in 17 by 17 rows, ran at 5v, and compatible with the Intel 486SX, 486DX, 486DX2, 486DX2, and 486DX4 processors. To the right, is an illustration of the Socket 1 socket.

The original OverDrive socket is now officially known as the Socket 1 and is a 169-pin PGA socket.
