Founded in 1999 by Louis Louw, Spacial specializes in creating software for live streaming, radio broadcasting, broadcasting over the cloud, and DJ software. Their products all have the acronym SAM in its name, which is short for Streaming Audio Manager. Spacial's products include the following:
- SAM Broadcaster - Software enabling users to broadcast over the cloud that's accessible from any browser.
- SAM DJ - Software enabling DJ's to compile their music ensuring gap-free playback.
- SAM Cast - Software enabling users to live stream themselves in different formats with listener statistics and reporting.
- SAM Broadcaster Cloud - A cloud audio solution, including Cloud radio, Sam live-dj Windows software, statistics, streaming included. Aimed at both beginners and seasoned broadcasters.
- SAM Broadcaster Pro - A software audio solution, mainly for seasoned broadcasters who rely on AM/FM capabilities. Not for broadcasters who require an always online solution.
In 2009, Triton Digital acquired Spacial and is now a part of the Triton Digital family of companies.
