How to use the Alt+M keyboard shortcut
To use this keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Alt key, and while continuing to hold, press M.
Alt+M in Microsoft Excel
In Microsoft Excel, pressing Alt+M opens the Formulas tab in the Ribbon. After using this shortcut, you may press an additional key to select an option in the Formula tab. For example, after pressing Alt+M, press F to open the Insert Function window.
Alt+M in Microsoft Word
In Microsoft Word, pressing Alt+M opens the Mailings tab in the Ribbon. After using this shortcut, you may press an additional key to select an option in the Mailings tab. For example, after pressing Alt+M, press S to open the Start Mail Merge option.
Alt+M in Google Sheets
In Google Sheets, pressing Alt+M opens the Forms menu (only applies to spreadsheets created from Google Forms results).
