Analog loopback

Updated: 09/15/2017 by Computer Hope
analog loopback

An analog loopback is a modem self-test that sends data to the modem's transmitter, turned into analog form, looped back to the receiver, and converted back into digital form. An analog loopback helps test the modem for any hardware errors without using the modem to make a call another computer.
