ATRAC

Short for Adaptive Transform Acoustic Coding, ATRAC was developed by Sony to compress all information on a standard CD (Compact Disc) to a 64mm MiniDisc with virtually no loss in audio quality. Today, MiniDisc is no longer used or supported.
