How to send free text or SMS messages online or from a computer
Several online services that lets you send free SMS or text messages to a cell phone using your computer. Below is a short list of services we suggest. Each of these services do not require you to register or download any software. Realize that while sending a text message with these services is free, receiving them may not be free.

These free services are for sending a text message to another person. You cannot receive a text message from another person with these services.

The following is a listing of all the major cell phone carriers e-mail addresses, which can be utilized to send SMS messages over e-mail. For example, if you had a friend with the cell phone number 555-123-4567 and AT&T as their carrier, you could text them by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
You can attach a picture to an SMS message, the same way you would attach a picture to a regular e-mail message.
