Ecma

Ecma was originally short for European Computer Manufacturers Association when it was founded in 1961. In 1994, the organization changed its name to Ecma and it's no longer an acronym. Today, Ecma is a non-profit organization dedicated to the standardization of Information and Communication Technology Systems.
