Free may refer to any of the following:
1. Free is a Linux command that displays the amount of free memory in Linux. See the free command for further information.
2. In general, free refers to anything that is given away and requires absolutely nothing from the person receiving what is being given away. For example, Computer Hope provides free computer help and information, requiring absolutely nothing, not even registration from the user.
