Created in 2018 after Google purchased Nest Labs, Google Nest is a line of smart home products that integrate with existing Google services. The Google Nest brand includes Google Assistant-enabled smart speakers, video doorbells and security cameras, Wi-Fi routers, smart thermostats, and other home connectivity products.
Google Nest devices can connect through the Google Home app or the Nest app, allowing these devices to communicate. They can also integrate with other services like Apple HomeKit and Amazon Alexa.
