Killfile

Updated: 12/31/2022 by Computer Hope

In a Usenet newsgroup, a killfile or kill file contains patterns that define the messages a user does not want to see. Any messages matching a pattern in the killfile are not downloaded or viewed. In this way, the killfile acts as a filter.
