Online editing

Online editing describes any edits or modifications done to online documents, such as web pages, without copying or moving it offline to do the edit. An example of online editing is a user who modifies their web page, blog, or Wiki.
Tip
Although many online services and ISPs keep good backups, for users who only edit their content online, we still recommend making a backup of all online content.
