Previous

Previous may refer to any of the following:

1. In general, previous is an adjective describing anything in the past or before the current time. For example, if you hit your back button on your browser, you'd visit the previous web page that linked you to this page.

2. In a media player, previous is a button that restarts the current track or song, or if pressed twice, the previous track or song is played. In the example image, the previous, play, and skip buttons are shown.

3. In Microsoft Office programs like Excel and Word, the previous comment button is a feature found in the comments section that moves back one comment.
