PXI

Short for PCI eXtensions for Instrumentation, PXI is a peripheral bus for data acquisition, beneficial to measurement applications. PXI is based on ISA (Industry Standard Architecture) computer buses and was introduced in 1997 by National Instruments and is still maintained by the PXI System Alliance.
