RAM cache

RAM cache may refer to any of the following:

1. RAM (random-access memory) cache is another term for L2 Cache.

2. With an Apple Macintosh, a RAM cache is sometimes used for disk cache.

3. With the Opera browser, RAM cache is an available option through the Preferences menu, under History. It is a cache that allows a user to save documents and images to their RAM.
