Snagit is a screenshot and video capture program for Windows and macOS, released in 1990. It extends the native ability of the operating system to capture the screen to a file. The user can capture all of the screen or a part of it. They may also edit the screenshot afterward using a simple image editor that is included with the software. The program also supports the ability to copy text from an image.
