SW may refer to any of the following:
1. SW or S/W is a common abbreviation for software.
2. When dealing with hardware, SW is an abbreviation for "switch." For example, when working with the system panel cables that connect to the motherboard, the "PowerSW" or "PWRSW" is short for the "power switch." See our switch page for further information about computer-related switches.
