The next generation of Commodore computers was the Commodore VIC-20. Introduced in 1980, it was an 8-bit computer that used the MOS 6502 CPU and initially had 5 kilobytes of memory.
Sometimes abbreviated as C64, the Commodore 64 was introduced in January 1982 and was an 8-bit computer with 64 kilobytes of memory. It was one of the most well-known and used Commodore computers.
