Shortcut to only select one sentence in Microsoft Word
Updated: 04/26/2017 by Computer Hope
In Microsoft Word, you can use a shortcut to select one sentence at a time. Press and hold down Ctrl and click with your left mouse button at the end of the sentence you want to select or highlight.
Once a sentence is selected, let go of the Ctrl key. To delete that sentence, press Del. You can also right-click the highlighted text to change its properties.
Bonus tip
If you continue to hold down Ctrl after a sentence is selected, and click-and-drag that sentence, you can make a copy of that sentence.
